My Grandmothers-draft1

My two grandmothers are different. First, my paternal grandmother looks thin and has white hair. On the other hand, my maternal grandmother looks cubby and still has black hair though she is as old as my paternal grandmother. Second, my paternal grandma is more traditional than my maternal grandmother because she always stays at home washing clothes, cooking meals, and sweeps while my maternal grandmother goes to church, attend touristry, and makes lots of friends. Third, their ways of teaching children are also different. For instance, my paternal grandmother she forbad me to ride bike for fear that I would get hurt when I was 7 years old. On the contrary, my maternal grandmother hoped that I could learn to ride bike so I could go to anywhere at will. Although they are so different in everything, I still like both of them very much.

A Forgettable Experience-draft2

Once I attended a wedding which was held by my relative. It took place at a splendid church, and all of my families were present at that primary ceremony. After the guests were seated themselves, the bride trod slowly and gracefully, smiling at the groom, who waited in front of her. Because it was my first time to be a bridesmaid, I followed her nervously. All the guests held their breath and focused on her. I felt really delighted and pleased, because that was the moment she found her true satisfaction after the divorce with my father 7 years later. I thought the wedding was the memory that I would never forget in my life.

A Dream I Had-draft2

I used to have a dream which happened in a Sunday afternoon. I found I was a child, standing on a hill. To my confusion, there was no color in my dream. Several minutes later, I saw a big stuffed bear which used to be one of my toys when I was 5 years old. She walked toward me and held me in the arms gently. Suddenly, we appeared in a park which I went to frequently in my childhood. At the same time, everything had its own color again. Afterwards, I played with my old friends and felt very excited. The dream was so miraculous to me and made me recalled my sweet childhood memories.

Making decision-draft2

Growing up means making my won decisions. I can choose what I want to do and have my own ideas for some situations. However, being an adult means that I can not only have my own decisions but also have responsibility for what I do. Especially, in law, I need to realize what I can do and can’t do. Therefore, making a good decision is essential. Since all my choices will affect my future. The hardest decision that I ever made was to choose which subject that I planned to major in. In the first grade of senior high, I had never thought about it. By and by, I became the second grader, and school asked us to make out our decision of the subject we want to major in. At first, in order to learn more knowledge, I wanted to take commercial courses. However, I found that I wasn’t interested in commercial. On the contrary, English appealed to me even if I wasn’t good at it. Therefore, I chose Department of Applied Foreign Language to major in. Understanding the price I paid, I will try my best to learn English and take charge of my own choice.
